Where the charity share goes

The split

For each US$1 remaining after actual payment processing fees, 70 cents is allocated to the charity selected by payment votes. PYM’s platform fee is 20% of net backing, capped at US$10,000 for this board. The remainder goes to the board creator.

Once net backing exceeds US$50,000, the platform fee remains capped at US$10,000. The fee-cap saving goes to the creator; the charity share remains 70%.

You choose the beneficiary

Choose a charity when backing a party. One confirmed payment gives one vote, regardless of amount. Refunded payments do not count. Voting closes with the arena. The charity with the most eligible votes receives the charity allocation. The owner resolves a tie and makes and records the transfer. Allocated amounts are not money already transferred.
